Jessica Davey

Jessica Davey is an American-born piano vocalist and singer-songwriter. Although permanently residing in Britain, she has performed as a solo piano vocalist internationally. Her wide repertoire and vocal talent make her a favourite amongst audiences the world over.

Originally from Batavia, Illinois, Jessica Davey (nee McFarland) began writing songs and performing them in 2003 while living in San Diego, California. She produced and performed two demo albums’ worth of material before moving to England in 2006 to study jazz and music composition at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (founded by former Beatle Paul McCartney). After graduating with 1st class honours in 2009, she performed both alone and with bands throughout England for several years.

In January 2015, Jessica began peforming as a solo piano vocalist for P&O Cruises Australia, completing 3 4-month contracts over the course of 18 months. In August 2015, Jessica released “The Moment”, an album of songs largely about her experiences at sea. In addition to piano and vocals, Jessica also contributed clarinet, saxophone and flute to the album. Her original music is an intriguing mix of jazz, bossa nova, and 1970s soft rock.

Jessica relocated to Scotland in the summer of 2016 and quickly became a regular artist at the many piano bars in Glasgow City Centre. In April 2017, she travelled to Japan as the resident piano vocalist for The Ritz Carlton, Osaka. Having successfully completed her 6-month contract there, she is once again in Scotland, living in Paisley.
